Your WordPress websites are being hacked. Mine were too.

Over 100,000 WordPress websites have recently been hacked. Most likely yours are being attacked right now.

But let me tell you…

About a year ago, one of my biggest websites was put out of business for 2 and a half days. It was bad. It effected online sales, retail sales, customer service, emails,… everything.

Why? We didn’t have an emergency plan in place.

We assumed that since service had been good for so long, that everything would be fine. Then it happened. For the second time in my life, I was devastated by a web hosting company. Yes, the second time. You would have thought that the first time would have taught me a lesson. But it was a different web host with a great reputation. Surely, it couldn’t happen again.

Fortunately it only lasted a few days. But just as we began to recover financially… it happened yet again. Another outage. This time it was only for about 18 hours. Web sales, retail sales, customer service, everything was offline.

That’s when I realized that not only did we need a plan… but we needed the ability to carry it out. Yes, it’s one thing to have backups, but if your web host is down, how do you access them? You can’t. How current were the backups? How easy would it be to change DNS?

It was a nightmare. A couple of months later, we were attacked by hackers. And then again by Chinese “denial of service” attempts. What is going on? I finally dedicated myself to discovering the emergency plan necessary to make sure our servers would be up practically all the time, and if they weren’t up, they would be moved within a matter of hours.

No more being held hostage by web host companies that just don’t care, overwhelmed with their own problems, or held at ransom by hackers from Russia, China, and who knows where else, just trying to make a quick buck, spam with email, seo, or just have a laugh.

So I created a solution, and now you have the first look at it. It’s called “Internet Assure.”

It’s all about making certain that all of the systems are in place to help prevent hacks, spam, downtime, and how to respond to them when it happens. Notice I didn’t say “if” it happens. Thats right. If you make money online, then you know it’s a matter of “when.”

Internet Assure tackles all of the security and backup needs required. From optimizing server settings and firewalls, to fixing vulnerabilities within your website. Likewise, we provide the best practices to help assure that you’re not hustled, tricked and hacked in other ways. Yes, I was hacked once because an employee had malware on the computer used to send files to the server. Sometimes it’s the simple things.

Today it’s even worse with the prominence of mobile devices, often cracked on purpose. Likewise, email phishing, social phishing, and the dirty tricks people use these days. Do your employees use the same password for multiple sites, emails, social profiles? Yes, of course. Hackers know this. Are you now exposed? ABSOLUTELY.

It’s in the news almost every day now. Recently over 100,000 WordPress sites were compromised by Russian hackers. Another 10,000 banned by Google almost instantly. In fact, I know of 2 sites this week that were pulled from Google. Sales, service, reputation… all impacted. It can literally happen to anybody. In fact, it’s more likely to happen than not. You must have a plan.

  • STEP 1: Prevention
  • STEP 2: Monitoring
  • STEP 3: Backup, Move and Restore

You don’t have to be Home Depot, Target, or SONY to be exposed. If you have a website, you’re already a target.

Right now, I’m offering a complete “done for you” annual service for just $249. However, if you’re one of the first 10 to respond I’ll take an extra $50 off so that we can build up a list of great referrals. Plus, once you order, I’ll upgrade you to the 24 hour emergency service, so that your site is protected or back up and running, even faster. That’s a $100 savings.

P.S. So wow, you might be wondering if it’s worth the money to be assured that your WordPress website stays up and running, avoids hackers, and has a backup plan in place when everything goes bad. Well, it’s simple. If your site was hacked today, taken offline, banned by Google, etc… then what would that income loss and recovery expense look like to you? How long would it take to recover the site reputation and your listings?

I created Internet Assure because it’s something I desperately needed. If you have a WordPress website, then you do too.
